One of the most horrific books I have ever read! The authoress took everything that was simmering beneath the surface of their story conveyed its consummation repeatedly and in graphic details that read like a cheap bodice ripper. Contrived and irritating, like Berdoll was writing this with a thesaurus close at hand in an attempt to make the writing sound intelligent; she failed. Hijacked great, classic romantic characters in order to obsess about their genitalia. Reads like fanfiction (I have nothing against fanfiction, just don't ask me to pay for it). If you love the style of Jane Austen, stick to Pride and Prejudice...more

still reading it...but LOVE the magic of life AFTER marriage for these Austen characters. After all what did the virgin jane know about love and lust?! the first few chapters...whew!!! smruti knows how much fun this book is!
