The writer underwent a lot of pain researching the facts before presenting them. A must read for all believers, talks about Jesus and how he taught his disciples in a way totally unknown till the book is read.

This was a decent read. I picked it up because I was interested in reading the Gospel of Judas. And the text was ok, just very gnostic.The commentaries at the end were interesting as well. Most of the authors of these commentaries seemed to want to show how this gospel COULD be fact (despite the fact that its theologies completely contradict every book in the New Testament) even though it's...more

A difficult work to review. It does provide an interesting view of the early Christian church. It is a wonder how this text survived survived at all. Poor old Judas, as in "The Last Temptation of Christ", gets a reprieve. Without his "betrayal" of Jesus we would not all be "saved". One can certainly see why it was slammed by early orthodox Christian fathers as being heretical.
