Juvenile fiction tells the tale of Kate who at 14 has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour. Story deals with the family's acceptance of what is happening as well as Kate's. A touching and realistic look at growing up in the face of death.

I keep trying to remember what I was like when I was the same age as the narrator and I'm failing. Even though it's written for a younger audience, the story is engrossing. I'm hoping it holds up.

Though personnally I didn't like the ending, over all it was a good book. took me two hours or so to finish though. I just wished Kate didn't have to die. even if us, the readers, expected it to happen the second we picked up the book and read the back *at least, I did that o_o;* but, it was a good/okay/sad ending... though this book wasn't really sad, or even ment to be sad at all. It made me...more
