One of my all time favorites.... Set in the 70s the novel takes us through the changing social structure of the American society much akin to today's India.... a story told with heart the novel has its moments when it really tugs your heart

A very good book. Archer does a splendid job of portraying the two different lives of many Americans; the ones who catch all the breaks and the ones who suffer many setbacks on their road to success.
