more Ever wanted a pet dragon? You will after you read this novel. I did. Pratchett has this fantastic habit of taking what you thought you knew, turning it around, sticking it inside out and giving back to you upside down. And in this novel he does it again. Brilliantly.
Sam Vimes and the Watch try (hard by ineffectually) to stop an enormous dragon, summoned by an overreaching would be king and cult leader, from destroying Ankh Morpork.
