However, salvation arrives in the form of a man who claims to have knowledge of Mrs. Cloade's first husband; a well-known explorer called Robert Underhay. Unforunately for the family however, the man is found murdered the nxt day. Suspicion falls on the mendacious and controlling brother of Rosaleen Cloade, David Hunter. Unfortunately, David has an alibi, and it seems that no-one had the oppurtunity. Then a man identifies the deceased as Robert Underhay, the first husband of Rosaleen. Poirot must use all his little grey cells to uncover achallenging mystery and unmask a truely dangerous opponent.
