It's interesting to read the other reviews here. Generally it's either hated or adored. I thought the author was kind of a clueless wonder, but I liked traveling around with Dan and reading about the things that have been running through his mind all his life. It's interesting to read the other reviews here. Generally it's either hated or adored. I thought the author was kind of a clueless wonder, but I liked traveling around with Dan and reading about the things that have been running through his mind all his life. Dan's definitely not a flawless man, but the point to me was a better understanding of the underlying cultural differences that really elude everyone, and a chance to parse the extreme anger he feels. It was an interesting glimpse into my own culture as well. Recommended.   hide
