Hercule Poirot is my favorite mystery character. Agatha Christie books are so smooth and seamless, and I flow along with the plot. Sometimes I figure out the criminal, and sometimes I don't. It doesn't matter, because the writing is sumptuous. I do like figuring out the puzzle, or sometimes the pieces fall together surprisingly at the end.
