Not really a read, more a flick through... but fascinating to see what people can eat in a week. Quite humbling to see someone eating rice and wheat for $2 compared to loads and loads of meat for $400!

I love this book! The photography is beautiful, and the stories, amongst other things, really put american greed and excess into persepective.

You can flip through this book in about 30 minutes, browse the detailed shots of the typical family's family food (all of the food is laid out on a table or in a display, usually in a single shot) from many different countries around the world, and quickly see why Western populations have the health problems that they do. Of course, you'd get more from it by reading more in-depth. But, you can...more
