First test from this book was a painfully decadent success. I say painfully decadent because I felt ill after I ate it because it was so rich. Everyone else was fine...I just don't handle a lot of butter and sugar well. I made the devil's food cake, layered it with ganache and covered the whole thing with chocolate butter cream (after brushing all the layers with simple syrup) I decided to call...more
