Quite hilarious, and acute. The middle seemed to drag on, and the plot kind of stopped for a hundred pages, and I got tired of melancholy observations about sparse fields, but in the end, it was an excellent read. I am so glad I'm not in a fundamentalist religion. Reminds me of Rapture of Canaan. A really sad book.
