Wonderful resource on gentle and natural approaches to birth and child rearing by a doctor who isn't afraid to share her own beautiful birth stories. I highly recommend it!

Very interesting and informative, but at times it was a struggle to read as it is top heavy with studies studies studies - it's quite an academic book really, not what I would call an easy read, but I am glad I read it

Excellent book especially the first part "gentle birth". Written by a doctor a mother of four all born at home. She presents the benefits of a natural undisturbed birth backed with medical evidence and shares her own stories and experiences. The second part "gentle mothering" basically follows the attachment parenting philosophy.
