This is a pretty good book. Very Waldorf. It has good ideas and suggestions, but many are suggestions that you can find in any other creative parenting book or magazine. I liked it, but it's not really a one-of-a-kind book, in my humble opinion.
Love this book. So many creative ideas. Some of the ideas are things I would not do, but many of them are things I would. Very crafty, but easy even for those who would consider themselves craft-inhibited.
Amanda Blake Soule is so inspiring. I have been reading her "SouleMama" blog for a bit now and was very happy to see so much of her philosophy translated beautifully to her first book. I can't wait for the second!
Lots of really fun ideas for young children. Love the inspiration for creating family crafting time together. Read through this several times for inspiration although I don't think I've done more than one or two of the crafts.
