Desiring God

Tremendous read. Not as good as an audiobook, because the narrator reads every single Scripture reference that is in parentheses, and if you know how much Piper references Scripture, you can imagine that gets a little distracting. But other than that, I got great gobs of Christian Hedonistic pleasure out of reading this book, which I guess is the point.

Outstanding book! Changed the focus of my Christian life! Helped immensely to see that duty-driven morality is so far removed from what God offers to his children! An all-time must read!

Ce carte! Bogatie de hrana si incurajare spirituala. Un om care Il cunoaste cu adevarat pe Dumnezeu. Ce deosebire fata de gramada de predicatori si de autori care vin cu o teologie superficiala, de doi bani!

The best book I've read to learn how to glorify and enjoy God forever in all circumstances. Praise Lord for what He put into Dr. Piper's heart and how He blesses me through His own words.
