This is easily one of my top 3 books of all time. I would read it on my breaks at work, and I actually dreaded going back to work cause all I wanted to do was read this book! There are very few books that I would consider reading a second time (there's so many out there, why keep re-reading is my thing) but this book I want to read again and again. This story was gripping right from the beginning, and while some parts are just heart wrenching, in the end it's all about redemption. And really, isn't that what everyone wants, and most would want to read about?   hide

Always on the edge of your seat reading this book. Bad things happen to good people. Brings to mind lots of emotions through the difficulties of life and growing up even if you didn't grow up in a war-torn 3rd world country. Excellent read! Very much recommended especially in this day and age of conflict throughout the world.

This was the most amazing book I have ever read. It really gives you a perspective of a life by someone who actually lived that day in and day out. Great book. I couldn't stop reading once I start it.

Exciting ... Completely exciting each of the 25 chapters that make this wonderful story that livro.Uma touch to all of us who really appreciates a true and lasting friendship. That is those that purify the soul ... Note 1000 if needed ...

AMAZING. He needs to write more books....both this and a thousand spendid suns were amazing books. It makes you really realize the world of difference between the us and afghan.
