The Night Watch

Once again, this excellent story teller has kept me her captive audience. Told backwards? Hmmm... It could be hard to pull off, but she does it deftly and it contributes to the feeling of this disjointed way that we as humans learn to know each other; it is a very interesting human story.

Not as good as Tipping the Velvet, Affinity or Fingersmith. Not a great storyline but good historical detail as ever

Readable and much details but not as good as her others.

I was grossly disappointed with this book - especially after reading her other books, Tipping the Velvet and Fingersmith. The storyline of The Night Watch was weak and didn't go anywhere. The ending left me wondering what the heck just happened.
