Violence/gore was mentioned very crudely and somewhat explicitly in this novel, which added an interesting twist to the already bizarre storyline. I would recommend this book to Austen fans, because I fear that even with zombies, it doesn't have enough to hold the interest of a non-Austen fan. I would have to say that my favourite twist, was how Charlotte was married already 'stricken', and I found it funny how nobody noticed until very late in the process...
The discussion questions are interesting, definitely something to be looked over. 3/5
