This is probably the weakest book of this franchise including but not limited to..a. The superficial glossing over of Rose's final Guardian trial. b. The manner of Dimitri's salvation whilst effective seems a bit lame, and c. there are times when Rose's whining and self pitying protestations, had me wishing that Blade would just jump into the plot and kill her ass! d. Abe Mazur is more of a...more
 This is probably the weakest book of this franchise including but not limited to..a. The superficial glossing over of Rose's final Guardian trial. b. The manner of Dimitri's salvation whilst effective seems a bit lame, and c. there are times when Rose's whining and self pitying protestations, had me wishing that Blade would just jump into the plot and kill her ass! d. Abe Mazur is more of a mafiosi 'soft c*ck' and not a tough "dont mess with me" mafiosi. Enough said.  I guess i will have to wait for the next one.   hide

What is not to love about this series. Let's see - NOTHING. The author does a great job of story line progression as well as character development. I really like how she advances the maturity of the characters with each book.  Which I seriously wish other authors would do.  This series is entirely addictive.  I can not believe that Vampire Diaries became a television series before this one did. ...more

I liked it but I really hate the way Rose treats Adrian and "fixing" Dimitri just seems too easy a way out.

OMG talk about MAJOR cliffhanger, can't wait for the next one.....If you liked the others you're gonna LOVE this one it has everything: comedy, drama, and romance and tiwst and turns that will make you not want to put it down. By the end of the book I had no finger nails AmAzing writing

This is the best one so far! Alot happens right away I was looking at the page numbers and saying to myself if this much is already happening what else is gonna? and I wasn't disappointed. The ending makes the almost 7 month wait for the next one an even longer one! Best book series ever! Took my breath away and made me cry! Amazing!
