Kiss

I really enjoyed this book. It was very suspenseful and it kept me wanting to read more. It did seem to go on too long towards the end, some parts could have been left out. I was surprised by something in the end and I thought that cool. My fave quote of the book: God is with you, Jesus is near, the Spirit is greater than your fear.

I was really disappointed in this book. It started out so good but it was like the author lost interest and focus as the book moved on. I really thought this Christian author would have added more about faith in the trials of our lives but there was only a few sentences throughout the book about it and then some in the last chapter as if that was an afterthought of the author. I was really disappointed in this book. It started out so good but it was like the author lost interest and focus as the book moved on. I really thought this Christian author would have added more about faith in the trials of our lives but there was only a few sentences throughout the book about it and then some in the last chapter as if that was an afterthought of the author. I had to put this book down and read something else in the middle of it. I only finished it because the beginning did get my attention. There are too many other good books out there to waste your time on this one. This is the first book I have read by Ted Dekker and apparently he is a best-selling author but it will take a lot of boredom for me to pick up another one of his books.   hide
