I must say this was an eye-opening book. The author explained so many concepts that begged clarification in all the other books I've read on Afghanistan. Because of his American upbringing and going to Afghanistan for the first time in his teens and with his father working in politics, it was explained properly how things work, what the problems are and how amazing the people are!...more
