I suppose I would have prepared something more along the lines of a volume in the Anatomy of a Ship series. Half a page devoted to a description of the crest of one ship. A few diagrams but nothing very detailed. Most of the book devoted to the three ships that were operational as cruisers: Blucher, Prinz Eugen and Hipper. It struck me that Blucher was an unlucky name for a ship in both wars.
