i'd never read his books before, but after reading this one, i can't wait to pick up another, but apparently his best one is Around Ireland With A Fridge! you can sort of tell by the title!

A more serene outing than his previous books a reflection no doubt of the surrounding Pyrenees. Written with great humor and left me feeling home sick for the French mountain village even though I have never been there.
