more Partisan historiography at its best - which is not to say this is a failure. Nice try to politically subvert current israeli account; actually, effective as this narrative has gone beyond the extreme spectre of the political left. The book offers a quite specific account on the "Nakba" from the perspective of village expulsions. This is written solely from the Palestinian narrative and demonizes Zionists all the time. As someone said, good history pleases nobody and this is why this fails miserably with its own scientific pretentions.
It's biggest flaw is the failure to explain the war as it is impossible to buy that six arab countries invaded the new-born State of Israel just to "save palestinians."
