This is the most gorgeous read!! I absolutely loved it. It is my belief that Jane Austen has been reincarnated today as Judith Lucy.

Found it difficult to begin with as i hadn't read such a 'classic' since my school literature days! The story was funny, and a good insight into the behaviour of the upper classes of the 1800's. It is a good read if only from the point of view of how much things have changed (transport, communication, morals etc), but also how human nature is basically the same as ever!

This is an excellent book and it honestly had me laughing out loud at some points. Jane Austen writes such vivid descriptions of her characters that you feel like you know them. Catherine is a very human character and the scrapes she manages to get herself into are both humourous and real. One of Austen's best beyond doubt!
