I began reading Harry before all the hype, before the publicity, definately before the movies. When my mom first handed me the book I thought it was going to be stupid. I'm pretty sure I gave her a sassy preteen you've-got-to-be-kidding-me look. Several hours later I was asking if the second book was out/ if we could go buy it. I love JK's writing style. That is something that never comes across in the movies. That humor that comes with her way of forming a scene. I will always remember Dumbledore unsticking those two sherbert lemons.   hide
