Quite possibly the worst book I've ever read. Yes I understand it... I simply find the story uninteresting and think the characters lack any endearing qualities. Although obviously I've only read a translation, I think the language is pretty ordinary and the content is pretentious. Avoid this book.

I think that it speak about an outsider who lives inside each of us, in that part of our soul which is unknown for us.
