The woman was an opportunist who used her clout to be a cash cow for the catholic church. All while denying basic medical needs to the very people that her charities were supposed to be "saving". They had the money to build first class faci...lities in Calcutta and yet in her vision to be destitute was to be closer to God. Not to mention her backwards vision that more people means more...more

If nothing else, this book provides a convincing argument for why Mother Teresa should not have been beatified and should not be canonized in the future.

Eye- and mind-opener. How propaganda made of a fanatically religious woman a Saint. The poors were just her means to try and impose an obscurantist and sexually repressive vision to them and to the World. Highly recommended.

Does the dirty job that no one wanted to admit to, it exposes Mother Teresa as the fraud she is. Mostly a re-hash of Hitchens' short film: Hell's Angel but it goes into more depth than the film could, a few updates since then, and the two should be watched and read hand-in-hand to really understand what's going on. Nothing short of brilliant as usual for Hitchens, really...more
