more Wonderful historical and religious analysis of the ancient world and religion in the first half. Effectively proves to the reader that Africa is indeed a Black Africa, as well as that most religions roots have stemmed from that region. His critique of modern society is incredibly poignant in addition to his evidence that meditation and Buddhist/Hindu thought actually originated in the Pakistan area from Africans living there. My only hang up with Amen's work is that he tries to push African cosmology onto you in the last third of the book. Of course cosmology has merit, but he presses the idea that is the end all to living a balanced life. Early on in the book he makes a couple anti-homosexual remarks, but I can forgive him since everyone has their own biases and misconceptions. Despite everything it is worth a read, however I do recommend you know your world religions and ancient history well before diving in.
