Blankets An Illustrated Novel

This is what I save my 5 stars for. I loved this story, the images, the ideas, and the underlying - never said - side of the story. I wanted it to keep going and going. I want to read Blankets part 2. I think I will be rereading this book for years to come.

It may be my favorite graphic novel ever, and ranks right up there with many of my favorite novels. This books demonstrates that the medium is as substantial as conventional novels. The illustrations are beautiful, the storyline moving, the characters honest and engaging, and it does what all good books should do-- leaves you wanting more. Come on, Craig, build on your book output!

Absolutely gorgeous, beautifully written and drawn.

This was pretty cute, but overall, not too entertaining.
