more This is my favorite Stephen King novel, for a number of reasons. One, it's classic King, and definately reflects his unique style of writing. Two, it's a great story with plenty of "horror" novel characteristics to keep readers interested. Three, it's about a car who has an evil mind of her own!! Christine is a 1958 Plymouth Fury, who snags men in particular and causes them to act recklessly and turn on the people they love. Arnie Cunningham, the nerdy high school boy who falls in love with Christine after she has been junked for several years, changes into a heartless ass because he loves Christine above anything else, and will do anything to defend her honor. Christine is definately worth the read, and is also a movie that keeps you on the edge of your seat.
