One for the Money (Stephanie Plum, No. 1)

Not crazy about it. Author spent more time describing scenery, as opposed to the characters themselves, making it difficult to really get invested in them.

A friend recommended this series to me & I wasn't quite sure if I'd like it or not. To be frank, the book covers and the titles have always thrown me off. I finally broke down & bought this one. It's fun, cute, and a light quick read. I'll certainly keep the series and more from Evanovich on my potential to read list.

Good book

My very first read of a Janet Evanovich book. I liked it. It kept me at the edge of my seat as I turned each page. Very entertaining to say the least!

so funny

Easy and enjoyable read.

A good summer guilty pleasure about a woman in her early 30s who sort of falls into bounty hunting to make rent. Her descriptions of her handgun made me cringe, however - so unsafe! But I kinda dig her vulnerability.
