After speaking with many writiers through my blog (www.featherbookseries.wordpress.com) I have come to the conclusion that everyone, at some stage, has used run-on sentences. Mark Twain, Pullman, all famous writiers with an absolute obsession for long breaths of type.

Too bad they are so annoying, particularly when the author goes off on a tangent in the middle of the run on sentence.

However, it could be worse. I'll take a run on sentence over a fragmented sentence any day. There is nothing more irritating to me than having to read a paragraph a couple times to figure out what the author meant to say.
