ok so in the mvoie they add chocolate and the dool and matilda goes there and left her ribbon there but in the book there none of that they did have most of the parts dough but why is that? thaT SO wierd

I also think it's not necesserily odd, but some what irritating that the movie shown as portraying an american family with a completely different set of ideals than the British family in the book. I do think that the film is definately a brilliant film, but I do prefer it when the book is adhered to closely.
