I have read nearly every one and there is nothing more therapeutic than being so in touch with the characters of a book that you actually cry for them. I thoroughly enjoyed every one.

I think they are emotional in a good way, as you get to understand and identify with the issues that the characters are dealing with.

I think they can be difficult to read because of the deep topics. I have to be in the right mind set to read her books (which I think are fantastic!)

I'm with all of you on thoughts, but especially Kris. If I'm not in the right frame of mind, or too much on my plate, I cannot get involved. Too overwhelmed with everything else, I guess. But when I want a good read, am ready for one, and know I'll enjoy it Jodi is where I go. If not, the book goes back to the library for someone else to enjoy, and goes on my "to read later" list.
