it vwas little woman . we had the abridged version as our school lit book ...so i bought the original and read it from top 2 bottom...cried too

The Agony and the Ecstasy is the first one I recall but some science fiction stuff before that I expect.

My mom took me to library when I very little. The first book I read by myself was Sam I am. But the longest book was Black Stallion.

An old book, My Friend Flicka, which just happened to be on the shelves at home. I think I was about ten years old. When I read it later as an adult, I was surprised at how much was in it that could be read on an adult level.

My dad took my younger brother and I to the State Library. He sat in the car while we went in; never was a reader. I fell in love with the lemon scented hand wash and the beautifully bound 'The Lion the Wicth and the Wardrobe.' Never looked back.
