I know Edward is the heart throb of the story and I knew reading the book that he would return but I must admit i was rooting for Jacob's character!!

I agree 100% but then I decided that Edward and her desreved each other and Jacob deserved someone better!

I liked jacob more and more throughout the entire series, but i kind of wish the both of them had grown up. only seth could look past what was the basic problem and get to know them.

Have you finished the series yet? he does get someone better.

Yes I did finish....I thoroughly enjoyed the ending when Jacob ended up with Bella and Edward's baby! I hope Stephanie Meyers will write their story eventually!

In the beginning I thought that Jacob should be the right choice, but after reading the fourth book and partial draft of "Midnight sun" , I think I'd choose Edward =}

I am totally an Edward person even though I read almost the entire book mad at him. Jacob started to get on my nerves in Book 3. Bella didn't help though by her actions

I was thinking the same thing today. After finishing Jacob's part in Breaking Dawn, I really wanted to see his perspective on imprinting on Rennesme.

I think they're both excellent characters, but as far as the love story goes Bella and Edward belong to each other. Edward is up there with Jean Valjean and Mr. Darcy, a truly classical romantic hero.
