I think Warner Brothers has done a good job with the first five movies, although I still think the books are better. How do you think this movie will fare? Looks like it's already getting a good rating on movie sites.

I Don't think so.
The Books are always better than the movies..
But, this time Warner do it ok..
So, I think this movie will be so much better than the other..
Well, the point is: JKR Rules! & Warner Bro... socks!
xD

The movie will be fab, like all the others, but you cant cram all that happens in the book, into a film. Therefore, the books have to be better at the end of the day, but the film will do really well. Hopefully it will encourage people who haven't read the book to do so too.

It's hard for a movie to be as good as the book. Even harder for it to be better. I think the movie will be good and I hope they don't leave too much out, although I already read about one thing they left out. I thought all the previous movies were wonderful except for The Order of the Phoenix --- it was great and everything but too much was left out such and Lily being there in the past scene with Snape. And I don't think you saw Harry being as upset about his dad being a bully or him really mourning Sirius' death like you do in the book.

I probably wont see the movie for another week, but I'm pretty sure it wont be better. Impossible.

I got to watch the movie tonight and although it lacked some of what was in the book, I was happy to share my love of Harry with my family. We had a great time.

I definitely agree with all of you. The books have always been better than the movies but it's always a treat watching all the characters come to life on screen :). Can't wait to watch the movie.

the movie will never be as good as the book, bc books allow us to use so much imagination, where as movies lay the picture out, leaving that bit of disappointment when they dont compare.....but still should be good :)

I watched the movie yesterday & I think though it still does not come close to the depth and richness of the book, it is much better adapted than the last two HP movies..

I thought that themovie was terrible and the books will forever be better. The [problem with the movie is that they had stuff in the movie that was not even the book that is terrible and stupid. I am sorry but I thought this movie was a disaster. It started out bad because the movie started with a scene that is not to be found in the book. And what is with Dumbledore caring about Potter's social life? And where was the Hogwarts vs. Death Eaters scene? I mean COME ON!!!

In my opinion there is no way the movie can be better than the book. I saw the movie however and I enjoyed it.
