I like Robert Langdon from Da Vinci Code and Angels and Demons. I like him because of his intelligence and passion for searching the answers in several controversial mysteries.

It's tough to pick a favorite. From contemporary reading, my favorite is Eve Dallas. Main character in J.D.Robb's "In Death" series.

And I did not see at first that this topic pertains to a particular book. Sorry.

There are many. The first one to come to my mind is Easy Rawlins from Walter Mosley's Easy Rawlins Mysteries series. Also, I never get tired of Batman. A new favorite is Cannie Shapiro from Jennifer Weiner's Good in Bed and Certain Girls.

My fav character is Howard Roark from The Fountainhead
