i have heard stories of people not marrying some one because they are too old or too young, but despite of a 20 year difference between Jane and Rochester, the two over look that and they fall in love and they find their profound happiness as a couple, my question is age important in love?

your free to put up what you think about this......

I don't think age is important at all. Jane Eyre is just one of the many examples. In that time it was actually quite common for the men to be married to very young women half their age.

this book is more deep than just about sex. sex is not the answer for everything. sometimes you have to be deeper.

Love vs age, the question that has continuously been pondered on without any resolution. And that perhaps is the answer I think. It depends on the situation, and the person. If despite age, wealth, looks, everything, we still find ourselves needing that person desperately, thats really all that matters. Age only becomes a problem when there is no love.

Its funny how when reading Jane Eyre, I've never really noticed the immense age gap between Jane and Rochester, but I guess it truly doesn't matter:)

We all are energies vibrating in a particular frequency--Love happens when this frequencies of two people matches--We are not just the body and mind--we are mainly souls--which use this body and mind--so in my knowledge when we resonate in love--there is nothing like age--Actually we are souls immortal.
