If Peter's life were a real story, wouldn't more teachers pick up on the bullying, or the bully victim? How did Mr. McCabe seem to be the only one to notice Peter? How could not one teacher notice someone getting smashed into a locker, or not overhear students talk about their classmate getting his head flushed in the toilet? I thought this was a great book, but was the bullying a little exaggerated? I don't know.
