Over the years i have read a LOT of books but this is still the best ever. Swan Song is the only book so far that i have read more than once(3 times)to date. Absolute must read .

Have you read Boy's Life by him? Swan Song was one of the best books I have ever read, amazing description of the world after the apocalypse.

I've just started reading this and can hardly put it down. Reminds me of Dr. Strangelove type of fiction from the 1960's.

You might like 'The Stand' by Stephen King. Similar post-apocalyptic themes and a real page turner, like Swan Song. Don't think that anyone convinces people to eat their own fingers in it - class!

I agree and I loved Swan Song alot. McCammon is an excellent writer. I used to buy everything he put out. Wolfs Hours, Mine, Gone South, Baal, Stinger and Boys Life were all great I thought.

I totally agree with you. I just wrote my review and noted that I do not ordinairly re-read books. This one is worth re-reading. I loved all of his books EXCEPT Boys Life.

This is definitely one of my top 10 favourite books ever. I have read "The Stand" a couple of times, thinking that was the best post-apocalyptic book ever, but "Swan Song" is even better. Have read it 3 times and I think it's been about time I read it again. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.
