If your book does not come up in our regular search box, then you can try an advanced/international search with Amazon.com/(other Amazon websites) search (Click on Advanced Search --> Select Amazon.com in drop down) to find the desired book. If you still cannot find the book, you can use add a book feature. This allows you to add a custom book. Click on My Reads ? Add a Book tab. Simple! If you see a book in your My Reads or Search, weRead shows you a list of friends that have added that book and also shows you their average rating. You can also click on the "Friend's Reads" tab on your weRead page. Once you do that, you're given two options to look at your Friend's Reads. You can choose to Browse by Friends or Browse by Books.
First check your profile settings using the Edit Profile link on the top of the application. You should make sure that the settings include reviews. Try clicking on the Update button on the Edit Profile page. This will usually update the profile. If the problem still persists, do let us know here.

If your wish-list is not on amazon.com (US) account then you are among many who is facing this problem. We are working to fix this problem and will keep you updated through the application wall.
For Amazon.com wishlist, sometime Amazon does not return anything for a valid email id. Trying a few time helps but not always. Another approach is that you enter the URL (Web address) of your wish-list in the "Import your books" --> "Get ISBNs from a webpage". It works better however; the only catch here is that if your wishlist comes in multiple pages then you will have to give each page separately.
Really! Well it is not hard. Click on the 'My Reads' tab on your weRead page. Find the book that you want to remove. (You can use the sort button on the same page to find the book). Once you have found the book that you want to remove from your weRead list, click on the delete button on the right. Click on it and confirm. Your book will be deleted from the weRead list. You can always add it later if you wish to.
To add a book, click on the "Add a book" link under the search box. You will be asked to provide Title, Author, Description, Image location and ISBN number. Enter all the details and click "Submit". You are done adding the book. The added book should show up on the same screen.
Unfortunately not. The reason we do not allow people to edit the books they have added is that someone else may have added the same book and in that case their information will also get changed. We are working to improve on this experience either through versioning or allowing people to easily added a modified details of the book they have added as a new book.
There can be three reasons for that:
a) You have not added books to weRead. Add books and rate them so that we can learn about your reading tastes and provide recommendations to you.
b) You have only recently added books. Check back after 48 hours for our system to catch up with your reading tastes and provide you with recommendations.
c) We have run out of high quality recommendations for you. Check back in a week so that our system can create new recommendations for you.
We look at your weRead shelf to see what you have read and rated, learn from what you like, and use that to give you recommendations. Help us to give you better recommendations by adding books you have read and rate them. Click here to easily rate the books on your shelf.
Quick Rate is an easy way to rate and review a book and compare your ratings with your friends. We have found it to be a cool way to discover new books. weRead carefully chooses books for you based on your reading tastes and presents it to one at a time. Once you have rated a book you can see how your ratings compare with your friends. It is really fun! Try it.
Readers are creating the quizzes on weRead. Yes, users like you. To create your own quiz, Click on the 'Quiz' link on your weRead home page, you will see a link to add a question to an existing quiz or add a new quiz altogether. Once you add a quiz you can see how many people have taken it and how did they do.
'Chuck a Book' is like recommending a book to a friend but its more fun! For instance, Want to recommend a book to someone? At wit's end with someone? Want to give them a reality check? Maybe you want to say "I'm sorry"? Or just send them a sweet note. Now you say with a book - chuck a book!
"Chuck a book" is a feature within weRead. It allows you to recommend a book to someone and send a message along with recommendation.

We are sorry for this inconvenience. As far as we can tell, all of the error pages people are seeing are cases where for some reason, is not passing your request for a page along to weRead. Unfortunately, there is not much we can do about it. However, will fix this for you as soon as they can. In the meanwhile, try clicking on the Refresh button in your browser. This usually makes things better. If you see other applications loading just fine, write on the application wall or create a new discussion board and we will get on the problem ASAP.
We are not the only application with this problem and we hope that will fix it soon. In the meantime, if you refresh your browser while on the blank page it usually fixes the problem.
It has to do with the way interacts with applications. Our application runs in an iframe, so when our application sets a cookie your browser treats it as a third party cookie. We DO NOT track you across multiple web sites. If you want to prevent third party cookies except for ours you should add "static.ugenie.com" to your allow list and block all other third party cookies.
We don't know why you would want to do that, but it's easy! Just go to your profile and click the little "X" on your weRead profile box. You can choose to remove it from just your profile or from your completely. Don't worry; we'll save your books, ratings and reviews (but NOT your personal info!) just in case you someday want to come back.
