Very well written. I have even more respect for Obama after reading this book and reading about his honest appraisal of his life, of politics, and his visions for this country.

I am not a big fan of Dan Brown's writing style. His cursory and misleading treatment of particle physics and Christian history, along with his method of hijacking the reader's attention by not giving enough information, is more than frustrating for me. Not a book that I would ever read again.

Walter Isaacson does a good job of synthesizing Einstein's life and work in this book. It is filled with many interesting stories about how he arrived at his famous theories, as well as how he influenced and was influenced by the world in the first half of the 20th century. Isaacson does a good job at explaining the physics at the level of general reader, keeping things interesting and in context. I heartily recommend it to anyone who is interested in Einstein and wants to know the facts behind his life and theories.

(Language: English)
This is my fourth or fifth time reading this book and each time I learn more, yet am still struck by its truth and depth. It is amazing to see the "heroine" go through character growth right before your eyes. She learns so many things about her life and her not-so-pure motives in life. This books is so powerful because just when you think all is hopeless for her in her self-made psychological prison, she gets a second chance at life and love. The book really puts life in perspective. It is a pity that so few people know about or have read this book, since Lewis himself felt it was his best fictional work. I heartily agree.
