I hate to say it but I honestly don't think this book was as good as the rest of the series, however this only applies if you're reading it last instead of first. If you read it first, then it's a great introduction to the Gossip Girl series. It was enjoyable though and the second half is very funny - it's a light, easy read but probably not for everyone.

A very interesting read. It doesn't show you much of the horrors of the Chinese Revolution but for someone like me who knew next to nothing about it before picking this book up, it taught me quite a lot. It's a novel that you won't forget, although I found the ending quite infuriating. Still it's a book worth reading.

Lovely and quite sad too. A most fitting end to a touching series. Don't expect all of your questions to be answered however - Lemony doesn't write like that.

(Language: English)
It's strange - this book to me was way more exciting than the first one despite the fact that Edward wasn't even there for half of it. It was a really enjoyable read though and it had me on the edge of my seat (bed) almost the whole way. Stephenie Meyer does an incredible job of showing the emotion and the bonds between her characters and she does a tremendous job of expressing Bella's pain and frustration and feelings of loss and her deep love for Edward. I agree with others when they say that the reason behind the intensity of the bond between Bella and Edward is a bit difficult to comprehend - I mean, why do they really love each other that much? However I would never doubt that the feelings that they have for one another. An amazing read but probably not for everyone.

This is a pretty interesting manga - the art's not quite as gorgeous as Trinity Blood but the characters are intriguing and the ending definitely leaves you wanting more.
