Another spectacular book. A glorious a well deserved finale to the Harry Potter Legacy this book was a sheer tour-de-force effectively concluding most of the plots and sub plots of the series. The book is emotionally sensitive with a range of emotional situations. One of my all time favourite tear jerkers is near the end when Harry is willingly walking to his death and he see his dead parents and he begs his mum not to leave him becasue he was afraid and didn't want to be alone. It was truly beautiful. As well as this there is massive amount of character development with many chracters peaking and really coming out of their shells. Also the twist with Snapes character was creative and ingenious, and far surpassed what was expected of rowling. To conclude a beautiful and gratifying read and a masterpeice to end the Potter legacy on. Only down fall being the multitude of endings :P

I loved this book! the challenges were beautifully descriptive and some of the characters such as mad eye moody were an absoulte delight. Plus many funny moments such as malfoy transfigured into a weasel and bounced about, one can't help but feel that there is a certain amount of poetic justice there. A interesting read even for a potter sceptic.

fantastic book! i'd expected it to be a childs book after Thud. But it was a great read with beautiful illustrations.

I picked this book up at a carboot sale as a bit of light reading and was really impressed by it. I would recommend this book even to fantasy readers because of the fascinating concept and the high tempo plot and constant action.

excellent book! takes a while to get into it and it doesn't follow toblakai's story as much as you'd like. But by half way through you can't put it down.

This book is everything that you'll ever want in a book. It has graphic sex scenes, spiritual enlightenment, the protagonists testing journey to a near omnipotent state, martial arts, political and social complications, a brotehrhood of monks and celestial powers...to be honest its all there and it all contributes towards a very gratifying and vivid read, which is further ehanced by the quality of the writing itself. I would strongly recommend this book to any fantasy reader!
