I love the Gemma Doyle trilogy and the previous books were great, but I think there was something slightly different to this one that I couldn't quite put my finger on. Maybe it was just a tad bit anti-climactic, but I just remember feeling somewhat depressed when I finished it.

The sequel is brilliant! I love how it gets much deeper into the characters, especially Felicity. Even the smaller characters like Nell have such a deep persona to them.

My favorite book of all time! The writing style is so visionary, the characters are fascinating and the story in itself has such a terrible beauty to it which I love.

Such beautiful illustrations and I am in love with the story! Now if only I could find the other two.

I can see why this is Rice's favorite of the chronicles. Who better a match than Lestat and the Devil himself?

At times kind of funny, but above all...er...excuse me while I have a very cold shower.

Brilliant! I love the Brontë sisters and the characters in this one have so much debt to them. Although I am sort of sick of people calling it a love-story because it's not so much a love-story as well as it is an anti-love-story. That's much more original than your typically overused Romeo-and-Juliet story.
