A difficult read as you enter the mind of a Paedophile and explore his sick mind....If you feel sick at the thought of a Paedophile, the you shouldn't read this book. However, that aside, the writing is superb. |

I found this book's writing rather simplistic, however, plodded on reading it because it featured a woman in an abusive marriage, therefore could relate. A bit of romance thrown it and the book started out on a sad mode....Set in the UK, therefore interesting as I usually read book from the USA.Not for those expecting a mind-blowing bestseller type of book..... |

This book is hilarious. Merival will make you laugh as he such a failure at everything he does and can be rather naive at times esp. when it comes to the King's supposed 'affection' of him...thoroughly enjoyable!A recommended read.....

(Language: English)
Not a good read as it will make you depressed as the good guys will have an ongoing bad luck without any light at the end of the tunnel. However, it will make you think though about a lot of stuff.....If you love litigation stories and intrique-this is the book for you.... A good read when you are in the right mood...... |

Can be boring at times especially the during the litigation...However, I enjoyed it as I love courtroom dramas. But then again, John Grisham writes better legal based novels.

Aida posted a review at 2011-05-16 11:34:24 for The Pillars of the Earth [Mass Market Paperback].
(Language: English)
A book that takes you back in time and immerses you into the world where Kings, knights and war are the norm. It also portrays that good will always win in the end though the characters may have to go through hell and back in order to win. There are times when it seems that the evil doer seems to win and win and all else seems to fail. However, faith is the backbone of the believer and justice will prevail.

A soppy love story, not for those who are cynical about love....A story of a bereaved widow and how she copes with the death of the beloved with snippets into the past.
