i must say i am a sucker for books about strong and independent women. this is a very compelling story. it sticks in your mind.

i know it is a childrens' book, but my son got it for me because he thought i would like it. it is actually a very good book. i read it in like two hours. it is one of my favorites because he gave it to me and because it was a good read!

really loved this book. it was sad and made me cry. the landry family series was my favorite by v.c. andrews. no one can create a sick and twisted story like her
