one thing my perception let me deduce from this novel is that it doesn't matter what you have got......what matters is what you make of what you've got........beautifully written, lucid and powerfully moving, it will teach you and make you cry at the same time PS: somehow it reminded me of persuasion by austen |

it's hard to keep up with and not everyone is interested throughout. partially because we know the whole story already. but what kept me hooked was the potrayal of the "befallen", Satan.i truly believed and justified his arguments.

okay nw dz book ws a best seller..of course ppl liked it. nw d ques is y did d ppl liked? majority liked it for d conspiracy it created.....i liked it more for d wondrous expanse of knowledge dt d author hs over his subject of expertise i could nt help bt b amazed at how minutely he assessed n put forth his observations............ d plot ws well knit nd d storyline sparked debates everywr |

now dz one hs more depth than any of his other works, d character r enigma archetype.....u r left wondering n mesmerized, when i finished d book i felt a loss and was happy 2 gt smthing credible to ruminate on 4 d next few days.......

leaning a bit on d border of tome but wn u finish d novel n gt d whole picture, u r glad n u comprehend d beauty in d begotten n wretched scarlet letter..........it stops being a symbol of shame n starts 2 signify smthin' much more complex...a will 2 live,a strength 2 reckon ur foundations wd...........

love lewis carroll, wd his funny situations n lovely insights into fantasy....just perfect for children bt nothing like a fantasy read to bring back memories of childhood
