Frank posted a review at for Prince Caspian (Chronicles of Narnia).
(Language: English)
This happens to be reader's least favorite book of the Chronicles of Narnia. I found that I did enjoy the other books more but this book is still one of my favorite books. It is well written using C.S. Lewis' wonderful unique style and is interwoven with immense classic mythology. This story is necessary to build up the other stories after this one and is all the same very interesting. We meet new characters and some of them will continue into the other books and some old characters will leave the series. It is one of those books that creeps up and you and before you know it, you're done.

(Language: English)
This is one of my favorite Chronicles of Narnia books so far. It is well written and very thrilling. The main characters were very well-developed and as you read further they became more familiar. It is very different from the other Narnia books but that's what makes it so special.

Frank posted a review at for The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Standard Edition.
(Language: English)
It's not very long and the spacing and font is huge. It's a lot different than HP books in that it's only a book of five short tales, one already written in Deathly Hallows (The Tale of the Three Brothers). I thought it was pretty good. It wasn't anything close to actual hp but they were good stories (though very simple). And the commentary and notes gave good insight.Plus it went to a good cause and I liked the illustrations done all by J.K. Rowling herself. Normally Mary Grandpre does them. Mary still did the cover but J.K. did the illustrations. They were good, I don't think as good as Grandpre but added a different touch. |

This book was interesting and different, I liked the comic book style. I learned a lot more about Iran and the Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic, etc. I anticipate reading the next one.

Frank posted a review at for Harry Potter and the deathly hallows (ill., engl.ed).

This is my all time favorite Harry Potter book! Second favorite is the Order of the Phoenix which is still really good, but this one is the best. There were so many secrets that were explained and there are still things unsaid and left for us to figure out.

We read this in elementary school and we all got to keep a copy, which we got signed from the author when we were done reading it. It was a great experience in 3rd grade.
